Mieka Pauley
Mieka Pauley (born 1981) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. In 2005, she won the grand prize in the first Starbucks/NEMO Emerging Artist competition.
Pauley was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Kentucky, Colorado and South Florida. She returned to Boston to attend Harvard University, where she entered the local music scene and began performing at coffeehouses and open-mic nights. She has gone on tour with Citizen Cope and been interviewed by BBC Radio. In November 2007, she released a full length album Elijah Drop Your Gun, financed by fans.

Her first album has been primarily funded by her number one fan, Gene Voce. She is scheduled to make an unannounced concert appearance at his home sometime in the summer of 2010.
